Cian O’Regan is pursuing a PhD in Human Factors at the Munster Technological University in Cork, Ireland, focusing on evaluating the potential role that head-worn Augmented Reality devices can play on future long-duration space missions to destinations like Moon and Mars where astronauts will be required to perform tasks in space several months, or even years after they last trained for that task on Earth. Cian graduated with a bachelor of science degree in Business Information Systems from University College Cork in 2019 where he specialized in Interaction Design, and he is also an alum of International Space University (ISU) after participating in ISU’s Space Studies Program in the Netherlands in 2018. Cian is also member of the PR & Communications Team at the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC).
