Russ DeLoach

DeLoach retired from NASA at the end of 2025, most recently serving as NASA’s Chief of Safety and Mission Assurance at NASA Headquarters. During more than three decades with NASA, he served in a variety of increasingly senior positions in safety, reliability, and quality assurance at NASA Kennedy Space Center and at NASA Johnson Space Center. His work included significant contributions to the International Space Station, the NASA Commercial Crew Program, and the return to flight of the Space Shuttle following the 2003 Columbia accident.
